The Brampton Cardigan is slightly oversized, in a mid weight jersey knit stitch with detailing on the cuff and hem.
Proudly made from soil to skin in the UK, the Brampton Cardigan is made from Herd's very own traceable soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, which they source themselves at a fair price from farmers in N.W. England, and make into yarn within 150 miles of the farms.
They either blend the yarn to make natural shades, or dye using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants. The buttons are made from nuts, the labels are 100% cotton, so your knit is fully circular.
